About the position

The Head of Marketing at Scaled Agile, Inc. will play a crucial role in driving growth and shaping the marketing strategy for the company. This position involves collaborating closely with the Executive Leadership Team and Sales leaders to strengthen the SAFe brand, activate the community of SAFe professionals, and lead marketing campaigns across various channels. The role emphasizes content-based marketing, lead generation, customer lifecycle marketing, and international expansion, all while measuring and improving the ROI of marketing activities through a data-driven approach.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the overall marketing strategy for Scaled Agile.
  • Strengthen the SAFe brand through content-based marketing and targeted campaigns.
  • Activate and monetize the community of SAFe professionals through customer lifecycle marketing.
  • Lead and coordinate marketing campaigns across key channels and media.
  • Generate high-quality leads and improve SEO and website performance.
  • Implement robust scoring and allocation mechanisms to improve lead conversion.
  • Accelerate new customer acquisition and international expansion by supporting partners and local sales teams.
  • Develop marketing collaterals for SAFe products.
  • Plan and run industry and customer events, including the SAFe Summits.
  • Measure and improve the ROI and impact of marketing activities.

Requirements

  • At least five years of marketing leadership experience in a services or IP-based company.
  • Experience with lifecycle marketing, B2B and B2C.
  • Ability to develop and implement forward-thinking marketing strategies.
  • Expertise in using data and analytics to drive decisions and optimize campaigns.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO, conversion rate optimization, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Proven track record in designing and executing successful customer acquisition campaigns.
  • Experience in managing and expanding international marketing efforts.
  • Strong skills in creating and directing impactful content marketing strategies.
  • Experience in planning and executing successful industry event marketing.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative environment and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Agile marketing practices and promoting an Agile culture.
  • Knowledge of designing campaigns to support certification renewals.
  • Ability to establish KPIs, track performance, and report insights to leadership.
