About the position

As the Head of Payables Solutions and Growth, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance the adoption of automated bill payment and credit card capabilities for Blackbaud's flagship financial solution, Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT. This newly created role emphasizes the company's commitment to growth and innovation, with direct accountability for achieving significant revenue growth objectives. The position requires collaboration across various functions to ensure timely delivery of key milestones and a highly optimized end-to-end process. The successful candidate will also build and lead a small, effective team to drive solution adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and implement a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to accelerate adoption of embedded automated bill payment and credit card capabilities.
  • Own the development, delivery, and continuous enhancement of a high-performing customer experience for automated bill payment.
  • Drive program goals, milestones, and deliverables through collaboration among multiple teams.
  • Align with global marketing and track delivery and optimization of new value propositions by customer segment.
  • Deliver sales and account growth strategies and competitor profiles across product, engineering, marketing, customer success, renewals, and sales.
  • Lead the payables solutions and growth team to deliver exceptional performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with customer success, support, and product management to measure and validate the value proposition.
  • Lead directly while influencing other functions to achieve objectives.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure results are achieved.
  • Deliver industry thought leadership and grow industry sentiment.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of management experience with a proven track record in driving significant transactional revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated experience in enabling volume growth through both one-on-one and scaled motions.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a history of managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to think strategically, adapt quickly, and demonstrate an unwavering bias for action.
  • Commitment to social impact.
  • Experience in the technology or non-profit sector is a strong asset.
  • Working knowledge of digital payments and fintech.
