About the position

The Head of Retail Banking & Sales will lead the retail banking division, focusing on strategy, performance, and growth. This role encompasses managing retail banking operations, developing customer-centric products, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences while driving sales strategy and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the strategic vision and objectives for the retail banking division.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to identify growth opportunities.
  • Drive business development initiatives focusing on customer acquisition and cross-selling.
  • Define and manage financial targets for the retail banking division, monitoring performance against goals.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on financial performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue growth targets.
  • Promote additional bank business through various sales channels.
  • Develop and maintain a playbook to ensure a consistent branch experience.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Lead the development and implementation of competitive retail banking products and services.
  • Prepare annual retail budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Oversee daily operations, establishing internal controls and compliance with regulations.
  • Provide leadership and training to the retail banking division to achieve sales and service goals.
  • Develop and implement customer relationship management strategies to enhance engagement and loyalty.
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to the customer journey.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in retail banking or financial services, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing retail banking operations and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of retail banking products, services, and customer needs.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
