About the position

The Head of Sales Operations & Strategy for Client Growth at FranklinCovey is a pivotal role responsible for driving the sales strategy and operations to enhance client growth and expansion. This position involves collaborating closely with the VP of Sales to develop and execute the go-to-market strategy, manage investments, and optimize returns. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic vision and operational expertise, ensuring effective execution of sales initiatives and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual sales planning process, including forecasting bookings and developing the go-to-market strategy.
  • Manage a team of 3+ direct reports, including staffing decisions and performance management.
  • Oversee the weekly forecasting process, developing methodologies and facilitating calls with the executive team.
  • Own key business initiatives to accelerate revenue generation and client growth.
  • Make recommendations on systems and technology to enhance sales efficiency.
  • Identify and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business health and facilitate quarterly reviews.
  • Act as a key advisor to the VP of Sales, supporting the operational rhythm of the business.
  • Create and scale sales processes to enterprise-grade levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (combination of High School diploma + four years of progressive sales or customer service experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in sales operations, management consulting, or investment banking.
  • 2+ years of experience managing a team of directly reporting employees.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3+ years of experience in high growth companies.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience in executive-level communication and presentations.
  • Proven track record of building and executing go-to-market strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams.
