About the position

The Head of Sales Operations & Strategy for Client Growth at FranklinCovey is responsible for leading the sales operations and strategy to drive client growth and expansion. This role involves partnering with the VP of Sales to co-own the go-to-market strategy, manage investments, and maximize returns. The ideal candidate will be a business generalist who excels in both high-level strategy and execution, overseeing a team and ensuring effective sales processes are in place.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual sales planning process including forecasting bookings and developing the go-to-market strategy.
  • Manage key investment and headcount strategy, territory carving, account loads, quota creation, and compensation plan development.
  • Lead a team of 3+ directly reporting team members, including staffing decisions and performance management.
  • Develop a forecasting methodology and facilitate weekly forecasting calls with the executive team.
  • Identify risks and opportunities to the financial plan and own key business initiatives to accelerate revenue generation.
  • Own systems and technology recommendations to drive sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Measure business health by identifying KPIs and managing the quarterly business review process.
  • Serve as a key advisor to the VP of Sales, helping to create and run the normal rhythm of business.
  • Create and scale sales processes and procedures to enterprise-grade levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (combination of High School diploma + four years of progressive sales or customer service experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in sales operations, management consulting, or investment banking.
  • 2+ years of experience managing a team of directly reporting employees.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3+ years of experience in high growth companies.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Executive level communication and presentation experience.
  • Proven track record of building go-to-market strategies and execution.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and other Sales Platforms/Tools.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams.
