About the position

As the Head of Security Operations and Incident Response, you will lead a global team responsible for detecting, defending, and responding to cyber events. This role involves ensuring that the team has the necessary capabilities and processes in place, while also collaborating with various internal stakeholders to drive the vision and execution of security operations at Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Instilling and fostering a culture of excellence, integrity, and care within the team
• Establishing and enforcing SOC processes, procedures, and workflows for efficient incident management
• Providing leadership during and after security incidents, ensuring timely and effective action
• Partnering with legal and privacy professionals to assess and mitigate business, technical, and regulatory risk
• Leading initiatives to integrate the team's insights into Zoom's broader security strategy
• Leading the cyber threat intelligence (CTI) function to establish a threat intelligence-led approach
• Partnering with the Global Risk team to identify and assess emerging risks to Zoom's mission
• Utilizing CTI for effective Security Operations and Incident Response (IR)

Requirements

• Have led a Security Operations Center (SOC) or an Incident Response team in a global enterprise environment or fast-growing technology company
• Experience with complex Cloud and SaaS environments
• Have a solid foundation in cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies
• Be committed to continuous learning and staying up to date with industry trends and best practices
• Experience leading large teams and managing managers
• Understand how the different organizations in a mature security program work together
