About the position

The Head of Site Projects, US is responsible for overseeing the Site Projects Organization at Urenco USA, managing projects with values ranging from hundreds of thousands to over thirty million dollars. This role involves coordinating all aspects of procurement, design, manufacturing, construction, and integration necessary for the operation and expansion of the uranium enrichment facility in Eunice, NM. The incumbent will strategically position the project portfolio and drive accomplishments at the site level, ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and executive management for all site projects to ensure safe delivery within budget and performance metrics.
• Coordinate the scope of site projects and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and quality assurance requirements.
• Manage major site projects with budgets exceeding hundreds of thousands to over 30 million dollars.
• Develop full-scale project plans and communication strategies to monitor and adjust project performance.
• Implement project schedules by mentoring and coordinating large project teams across multiple organizations and shifts.
• Track and present project indicators to executive management and the Board of Directors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 10 years of direct work experience in major project management in a highly regulated industry.
• 5 years of experience in senior management positions supervising other project managers.
• Advanced degree in a related field (e.g., construction management, MBA) and Project Manager Certification with 15 years of related work experience is desirable.
• Executive-level interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
