About the position

The Head of Specialty Care SC Projects and Business Excellence is responsible for the planning, development, and execution of Supply Chain Specialty Care projects, ensuring alignment with the Global Supply Chain Strategy. This role focuses on continuous improvement and business excellence within the Specialty Care sector, driving strategic global projects that impact the business and meet overall company goals. The position requires strong leadership skills to motivate teams and manage cross-functional collaborations, with an emphasis on delivering results and optimizing supply chain performance.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning, development, and execution of Supply Chain Specialty Care projects.
  • Steer continuous improvement within Specialty Care SC in alignment with Global Supply Chain Strategy.
  • Business partnering between GSC Strategy & Excellence and SC Specialty Care.
  • Member of the SC Projects and Business Excellence Leadership Team.
  • Manage project implementation in collaboration with project teams and global resources.
  • Ensure transparent and standard reporting system for progress tracking.
  • Responsible for SC Specialty Care project portfolio management, including prioritization and optimization of programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance Supply Chain Performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost savings opportunities.
  • Demonstrate leadership to keep teams motivated and focused on project goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of supply chain experience, including end-to-end supply chain planning and operations.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain process improvement or operational excellence.
  • 3+ years in a leadership role with a strong background in supply chain management.
  • Experience in conducting performance evaluations and improvement initiatives.
  • Proven experience in cross-functional transformation project management or program leadership.
  • Fluent in English, with additional languages considered an asset.

Nice-to-haves

  • APICS certification.
  • Knowledge of General medicines portfolio and General Medicines Manufacturing & Supply processes.
  • E2E and Site Kinaxis system knowledge.
  • Knowledge of route customer fulfilment processes and tools.
  • Knowledge of route to market and customer engagement.
