About the position

The Head of Supply Chain and Manufacturing will play a crucial role in the company's mission to combat climate change by crafting and executing a comprehensive supply chain strategy. This position focuses on building strategic vendor relationships to support the rapid scale-up of carbon removal deployments, requiring a mission-driven mentality and a commitment to reversing climate change.

Responsibilities

• Craft and execute the company's supply chain strategy.
• Build strategic vendor relationships to support carbon removal deployments.
• Anticipate and address supply chain bottlenecks.
• Develop a robust supply chain infrastructure.
• Ensure suppliers are aligned with the company's mission.
• Collaborate with Technology, Engineering, and Research teams.
• Negotiate complex agreements and assess make vs. buy decisions.
• Lead and build high-performing supply chain teams.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of experience in building large-scale hardware supply chains.
• Experience managing both custom and off-the-shelf parts.
• Expertise in international and domestic logistics.
• Proven track record in negotiating complex agreements.
• Experience in assessing make vs. buy decisions.
• Background in a construction environment and exposure to an EPC delivery model.
• Strong project management skills and a collaborative mindset.
