About the position
Stepping Stone Day School is seeking dependable, creative, and nurturing daycare teachers who will serve as the main point of contact between parents and children. The role involves maintaining professional relationships with staff and parents while adhering to state guidelines and fostering the growth and development of students.
Responsibilities
- Maintain professional relationships with staff and parents.
- Adhere to all state guidelines for childcare.
- Foster the growth and development of students.
- Implement and develop curriculum for various age groups.
- Manage classroom effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience teaching in a certified childcare center.
- Valid Child Development Associate Certification (preferred).
- CPR Certification (preferred).
- Strong communication skills with parents and students.
- Ability to work with all age groups (6 weeks to 12 years).
- Strong classroom management skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in teaching.
- Flexibility to work various shifts between 6am-6pm, Monday to Friday.
