About The Position

The position involves supervising, administering, and facilitating the delivery of quality customer service through the Teller line. The role requires ensuring adequate coverage, adherence to deadlines, efficient service, proper processing of transactions, and maximum productivity. The supervisor will proactively seek opportunities for improvement in service and office operations. Responsibilities also include controlling vault cash, maintaining an inventory of negotiable instruments, and performing various teller duties such as ATM reconciliation and operational audits. The supervisor will balance transactions and cash in accordance with policies and procedures, maintain teller standards, and apply a solid working knowledge of all bank products and services to ensure effective selling. Additionally, the supervisor will exercise authority, mentor less experienced staff, maintain compliance with bank policies and regulations, report large currency transactions, and protect the interests of the bank by adhering to security measures.
