Header Welder

About the position

We are currently seeking experienced Header Welders to join our team. The Header Welder is responsible for the setup and operation of advanced welding equipment, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards. This role requires strong problem-solving skills to minimize scrap, rework, and downtime while maintaining an excellent level of craftsmanship. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable professional who takes pride in their work and consistently meets quality and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate MIG and Flux Core welding equipment for header welding applications.
• Perform 3G Open Root MIG/Flux Core Fill & Cap weld tests to verify proficiency.
• Identify and repair defects while ensuring an acceptable level of appearance and structural integrity.
• Minimize waste by reducing scrap, rework, and downtime through efficient welding techniques.
• Ensure all welding work meets company specifications and industry standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in header welding.
• Strong knowledge of MIG and Flux Core welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and correct welding defects.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
