Operators will be responsible for adhering to safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper equipment interaction. In this role, operators will be required to interpret work orders accurately and perform in-process inspections to ensure compliance with quality specifications. The job involves lifting up to 45 pounds and performing basic machine setups. Teamwork is essential, as operators will need to follow instructions and assist colleagues as necessary. Responsibilities

• Operate and perform basic setups of heading machines such as non-progressive cold headers.
• Begin to operate progressive headers including hot headers.
• Interpret work orders accurately.
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Lift up to 45 lbs as required.
• Conduct basic machine setups.
• Work in a team environment, following instructions and assisting others as needed.
• Adhere to safety guidelines including the use of PPE and equipment interaction.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to read and write English fluently.
• Intermediate print reading and inspection processes.
• Ability to use intermediate inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers.
• Basic familiarity with header tooling and equipment (both progressive and non-progressive).
• Basic knowledge of wire material and coatings.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
