About the position

The Health Advisor Associate - Bilingual (Spanish) position at Quest Diagnostics involves working collaboratively with other Health Advisors to address healthcare barriers faced by patients. The role requires providing empathetic support and effective solutions to help members manage their chronic conditions through telephonic and electronic communication. The position emphasizes building rapport with members and utilizing data to enhance health management outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Coaches members and provides an empathetic, non-judgmental environment to identify effective solutions to healthcare barriers.
  • Works telephonically/electronically with members to manage their chronic condition.
  • Interfaces with member profile and data within Salesforce.
  • Develops rapport and relationships with individuals to increase self-efficacy.
  • Identifies and solves barriers to individual's health management.
  • Provides an above and beyond experience assisting members in locating various services, physicians, or resources.
  • Monitors data reported directly by members to create a personalized improvement plan.
  • Uses KPIs to assess work performance.
  • Utilizes strengths and interests to work on various projects within the company.
  • Acts as a champion for quality and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • NBC-HWC Certification must be obtained within 2 years.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in customer service and one-on-one education/coaching.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare systems.
  • Prior experience with chronic condition management preferred.
  • Experience with patient communication in a healthcare setting.
  • Hunger to learn and improve through professional development and continuing education opportunities.
