About the position

The Health Analytics Product Analyst/Consultant at Aon Corporation is responsible for leading the development and commercialization of health analytics capabilities. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that empower clients and enhance decision-making in health analytics. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert, ensuring high-quality delivery of analytics projects and contributing to business development efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Consult on advanced analytics client projects and pilot initiatives, ensuring timely delivery that exceeds client expectations.
  • Participate in proposals for new business discussions with prospective clients.
  • Showcase and present analytics capabilities and market trends at internal and external events.
  • Support the commercialization and development of analytics capabilities, leading the implementation of new products and solutions.
  • Engage in go-to-market activities, including developing consulting and sales materials, and organizing national training sessions.
  • Improve processes for client analytics delivery and onboarding, identifying opportunities for automation and reporting enhancements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for new analytics solutions.
  • Prioritize features and functionalities based on value, feasibility, and strategic alignment.
  • Stay current on emerging trends and propose new capabilities to meet client needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain analytics solutions, ensuring alignment and communication.
  • Oversee the iterative development process, including sprint planning and backlog grooming.
  • Ensure quality and reliability of new analytics solutions through user acceptance testing and performance monitoring.
  • Engage with clients and colleagues to gather feedback and solicit input for future enhancements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of client-facing or related experience in health or benefits, health actuarial and analytics work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience contributing to national initiatives, products, model and tool development is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with reinsurance and reinsurance modeling, including stop loss and captives.
  • Understanding of predictive modeling and insurance applications.
  • Strong technical background in actuarial modeling and statistical methods, including familiarity with data science and machine learning techniques.
  • Understanding of market trends, client needs, and emerging vendors.
  • Proven ability to mentor junior colleagues.
  • Understanding of Agile project management is a plus.
  • ASA or pursuing FSA Actuarial credentials is a plus.
