About the position

The Health and Human Resources Specialist position focuses on providing guidance and oversight to Family Resource Network (FRN) Grantees across all counties in West Virginia. The role involves ensuring compliance with prescribed work statements, analyzing data to verify outcomes, and facilitating community support for families in need. The specialist will engage in regular meetings with grantees, participate in collaborative statewide initiatives, and present findings based on community surveys.

Responsibilities

  • Provide statewide guidance and oversight to 27 Family Resource Network (FRN) Grantees.
  • Ensure grantees adhere to the prescribed statement of work.
  • Collect and analyze data on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to verify expected outcomes.
  • Disseminate the annual FRN community survey and develop the final report based on collected data.
  • Meet regularly with grantees individually and as a group during professional development opportunities.
  • Participate in statewide collaborative meetings.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and ability to work collaboratively to identify community-based needs and develop solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • Two years of full-time, equivalent part-time paid or volunteer experience in a related technical or program area.
  • Post-graduate education may substitute for required experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • Master's degree in social work from a regionally accredited program may also qualify.
