About the position
The Health and Physical Education Teacher K-12 Long Term Substitute position at Groveland Elementary is a temporary role for the second semester of the academic year, specifically from January 29, 2025, to June 13, 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering health and physical education instruction to K-12 students, demonstrating knowledge of content and pedagogy, and adhering to Pennsylvania's Academic Standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver health and physical education lessons to K-12 students.
- Assess student performance and provide feedback on their progress.
- Guide and direct instruction in accordance with Pennsylvania's Academic Standards.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to support student learning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Health and Physical Education.
- PA Health and Physical Education PK-12 certificate.
