About the position
The Health and Wellness Specialist at ATI Worksite Solutions (AWS) is responsible for guiding client employees in making positive health changes through the development and implementation of health and wellness programs. This role focuses on creating a vision for health, fostering a healthy mindset, and encouraging sustainable health habits. The specialist will also track program delivery, facilitate assessments, and report on outcomes, all while promoting proactive health strategies within the workplace.
Responsibilities
- Develop, promote, and implement health and wellness programming.
- Track and monitor program delivery and outcomes reporting.
- Facilitate individualized and company-wide health assessments.
- Document interactions and evaluate client programs for improvement.
- Promote early reporting of injuries and physical resiliency programs.
- Encourage and empower employees through health education and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in health education, nursing, athletic training, exercise science, or nutrition.
- CPR Certification.
- Experience in health coaching and/or motivational interviewing concepts preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Practical knowledge of health coaching concepts.
- Experience as a healthcare professional.
