About the position

The Health Care Administrator is responsible for overseeing the operational, financial, and clinical aspects of health services at Westminster Place. This role involves strategic planning, budget management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while maximizing patient care and safety. The administrator collaborates with the Executive Director and campus leadership to implement annual goals and objectives, manage census and marketing efforts, and develop effective health services programs.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and corporate leadership in planning for the future of Presbyterian Homes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the campus annual operating plan.
  • Develop and implement campus annual goals and objectives with the leadership team.
  • Plan and implement Health Services based Quality Assessment and Process Improvements.
  • Develop a campus capital budget aligned with strategic plans.
  • Prepare departmental budgets that align with the campus annual operating plan.
  • Achieve healthcare census and financial goals related to operating expenses.
  • Oversee operations staff and hold them financially accountable.
  • Utilize computerized cost reporting and maintenance systems.
  • Manage sales and admissions staff to meet Corporate Productivity Standards.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive clinical program that maximizes patient safety and improves outcomes.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and high levels of resident satisfaction.
  • Participate in employee orientation and educational program development.
  • Conduct weekly rounding of the respective area of responsibility and document findings.
  • Serve on a rotating basis as Manager on Duty.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is required; Master's Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum five years of progressive management experience in acute care or long-term care setting.
  • Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
  • Ability to analyze, organize, and direct operations effectively.
  • Understanding of State, Federal, and local codes.
