About the position

The Health Care Provider Account Executive (HCPAE) is a field-based sales role focused on growing existing business and securing new profitable accounts in laboratory and diagnostics sales across Statewide Minnesota. This position requires building strong relationships with healthcare providers, onboarding new customers, and driving sales growth through strategic planning and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales through pre-call planning, post-call analysis, and consistent follow-up.
  • Target and secure new business of $15K Monthly.
  • Onboard new customers and provide overall support and expertise to new accounts.
  • Increase discretionary business through insurance access.
  • Partner with and notify Physician Account Manager on complex issues or when face-to-face or extensive service is required.
  • Provide immediate support for less complex issues for targets/prospects.
  • Leverage all tools and resources including data, SFDC, target lists, and marketing department resources.
  • Maintain a breadth of knowledge of all connectivity products (i.e., Quanum, e-orders, e-prescribe, etc.).
  • Prepare and present proposals and bids.
  • Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales.
  • Effectively manage pipeline via Salesforce.com (SFDC) platform.
  • Consistently perform administrative responsibilities such as expense reports and sales reports.
  • Perform all trainings within assigned timelines, demonstrating proficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.

Requirements

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in sales with account ownership.
  • Hunter mentality is a must!
  • Knowledge of the Healthcare Industry and general economics of business.
  • Strong selling skills and ability to grow new business.
  • Ability to develop and sustain strong customer relationships.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Solid PC skills including Microsoft Software.
  • A valid driver's license and a motor vehicle record in good standing.
