About the position

The Health Care Quality Analyst position is responsible for overseeing quality assurance and quality improvement project management within the health center. This role involves strategic planning, goal-setting, and tracking performance metrics to ensure compliance with standards set by various health organizations. The analyst will manage data reporting systems, collaborate with stakeholders, and facilitate quality improvement activities to enhance healthcare delivery and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee quality assurance and quality improvement project management.
  • Support strategic Health Center planning and goal-setting.
  • Track metrics to assess performance and compliance with standards.
  • Manage the collection and maintenance of data reporting systems.
  • Create and maintain data dashboards and metrics for healthcare delivery.
  • Work across departments to create combined data sets for operational awareness.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders on data strategy and information exchange.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of quality improvement policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate quality improvement activities using best practice methods.
  • Serve as Chair of the Quality Management Committee to ensure high-value healthcare delivery.
  • Conduct trainings on quality improvement and risk management.
  • Create and submit reports for quality improvement programs and financial reporting.
  • Act as primary contact for communication with managed care organizations.
  • Administer SharePoint pages related to Quality initiatives.
  • Support EHR functions to ensure seamless access to health records.
  • Monitor market trends and public policy developments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare administration, or public health or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years' experience in healthcare operations, quality improvement/assurance, or administration.
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience including training and project management.
  • Advanced user of MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel, and experience with database programs like Access, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau.
  • Valid California driver's license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Tableau for data visualization.
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards such as HRSA and NCQA.
