About the position

The Health Center Operations and Quality Support Specialist at the Alaska Primary Care Association plays a crucial role in supporting the operations and quality initiatives of health centers. This position involves assisting with external grants, the credentialing program, and providing administrative support to various departmental projects and team members. The specialist will work closely with the Revenue Cycle and Finance Services Manager and participate in project meetings, ensuring effective communication and organization within the team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with external grants and the Credentialing program.
• Provide administrative support to departmental grants, projects, and OPS team members.
• Attend and participate in project team meetings and quarterly meetings, recording attendance and taking notes.
• Schedule upcoming meetings and send out agendas and reminders.
• Communicate with partner CHCs about CRCCP on an ad hoc basis.
• Learn the Credentialing process and obtain necessary access to project tools.
• Monitor the TeamTTA email account and keep the TeamTTA calendar updated.
• Create flyers for OPS events and submit newsletter announcements.
• Track and assign internal/external requests in Asana.
• Assist departmental teams with grant reporting requirements and provide customer service to CHCs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 to 2 years' experience in an office environment preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with diverse populations.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows required; willingness to learn Office 365.
• Experience in health, social service, operations, process improvement, or public administration fields desired.

Nice-to-haves

• Community Health Center experience preferred.
