Responsibilities

• Directs field staff to survey hospitals and healthcare facilities for quality of care evaluation.
• Supervises the administration of survey services, including report reviews and problem resolution.
• Manages a team of consultants providing specialized services in evaluating patient care quality.
• Coordinates enforcement actions, including license revocations and decertifications.
• Provides technical support to survey and consultant sections and directs Health Facilities Program Specialists.

Requirements

• Two years of administrative, supervisory, or consultative experience in health facility surveillance.
• A valid California Class C Driver License or alternative transportation method.
