About the position

As a Health Informatics Analyst at Stryker Sage, you will play a crucial role in enhancing data analytics and reporting capabilities focused on value-based care and patient safety. This position involves analyzing clinical quality data, building reporting solutions, and providing insights that improve patient care and operational efficiency. You will work with various healthcare data sources to identify trends and support decision-making processes that lead to better patient outcomes and financial health for healthcare partners.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze clinical quality data and build reporting solutions to enhance outcomes and health economic value.
  • Capture, structure, and analyze publicly-reported healthcare data from various databases to identify trends and insights.
  • Analyze data on hospital performance metrics, such as readmission rates and patient satisfaction scores.
  • Conduct analyses using CMS Pay for Performance data to optimize resource allocation and reduce costs.
  • Support decision-making by providing evidence to healthcare providers on the impact of interventions on CMS performance targets.
  • Develop and maintain automated reporting solutions for health economic and value-based care competencies.
  • Generate and distribute regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Participate in the implementation and evaluation of health informatics and health economic projects.
  • Follow data handling and reporting regulations and standards, such as HIPAA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, Public Health, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in health informatics, data analysis, or a related role.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel), electronic health record (EHR) systems, or health information systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Healthcare data standards and interoperability (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
  • Power BI/Tableau visualizations and development.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Certification in health informatics or healthcare quality.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $75,300 - $156,900 plus bonus eligibility and benefits.
