Responsibilities

• Develop data analytic strategies to lower healthcare costs for managed populations.
• Engage with clients including finance teams and senior leaders to review financial performance.
• Provide advanced analyses to ensure resources are effectively allocated to critical areas.
• Utilize healthcare data analytics to gain insights into provider ordering and member adherence.
• Identify and execute cost-saving opportunities in partnership with business and operational owners.
• Maintain professional relationships and provide outstanding customer service.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, Statistics or related field.
• Four years of analytic experience, with at least two years in a Health Plan/Payor organization.
• Proficiency in analytical software tools and applications.
• Knowledge of healthcare or insurance accounting methods and reporting.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in an analytical field.
• Experience in healthcare analytics and health insurance finances.
• Familiarity with statistical applications like SAS, SPSS, or R.
• Experience with analytics interfaces such as Tableau or Business Objects.
• Six Sigma certification.
