About The Position

The Health Program Analyst (Junior Data Manager) at Rutgers University is responsible for off-site study coordination and data management of clinical research protocols, particularly those positioned at international sites. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Public Health with one (1) year of data management experience or a Master's Degree in Public Health with research database experience.
• Intermediate proficiency with statistical packages (SAS, R, MS Excel, MS Access, etc.).
• Good understanding of clinical research components including data collection, human subjects protection, and quality assurance.

• Ability to learn and integrate other related computer applications into existing operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform off-site study coordination and data management of clinical research protocols.
• Develop REDCap case report forms consistent with approved protocols to capture clinical and laboratory data.
• Facilitate and coordinate orientation and training for volunteers/staff on data-gathering software and instruments administration.
• Maintain and manage research databases using SAS software.
• Monitor data quality per standard operating procedures for each protocol with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate QA/QC with international on-site staff and Rutgers Study Coordinators.
• Summarize and analyze data for progress reports.
