About the position

The Health Program Coordinator is responsible for supervising and evaluating program service delivery within the Department of Human Services. This role involves recommending program policies, procedures, and directives, as well as analyzing and supervising the maintenance of program data. The coordinator will also coordinate program services with other divisions, community agencies, and institutions, utilizing specific software to complete assignments.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Business Administration, Behavioral Sciences, or a closely related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor's degree in the same fields with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Valid United States motor vehicle operator's or chauffeur's license.
  • Pass the complete examination and employment medical established for this classification.
  • Successfully complete the six-month probationary period.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in health education, nursing, nutrition, communicable diseases, or environmental health.
