About the position

The Health Program Coordinator will serve as a liaison between various stakeholders, including vendors, laboratories, pharmacies, and healthcare providers, to facilitate the reporting of COVID-19 data through the Universal Public Health Node (UPHN). This role involves providing technical assistance, troubleshooting issues, and preparing educational documentation for users. The coordinator will also monitor error reports and ensure effective communication with both end users and technical staff.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with vendors, laboratories, pharmacies, and healthcare providers to report COVID-19 data via the UPHN.
  • Serve as a point of contact for healthcare facilities, resolving issues and answering questions through various communication channels.
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot data and technical issues with facility and program staff.
  • Prepare documentation to educate users on transport onboarding steps and document troubleshooting processes.
  • Document customer interactions for evaluation of service delivery activities.
  • Monitor error reports and take appropriate resolution steps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics, Public Health, Health, Human Services or a related field and two years of experience in program coordination; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and four years of experience; OR six years of relevant experience.
  • A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • At least two years of experience with public health or human services.
  • At least two years of providing user support and troubleshooting user issues for software applications/systems.
