About the position

As a Health Provider Network Consultant/Manager at Accenture, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the provider network practice within the Healthcare Administration Consulting Practice. Your focus will be on ensuring high-quality healthcare services for clients, including health plans, government agencies, and healthcare systems. This position requires a strong background in health administration strategy, provider operations, and credentialing, with responsibilities spanning provider data management, contracting, education, and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate knowledge of vendors and solutions for efficient provider data management.
  • Analyze provider data systems for compliance and reporting.
  • Streamline data management processes to reduce errors and improve timeliness.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle, including negotiations and compliance with healthcare providers.
  • Provide insights on reimbursement models and contract optimization strategies.
  • Advise on best practices for provider credentialing and re-credentialing processes.
  • Develop onboarding processes and training materials for new providers.
  • Lead provider network management projects to improve system processes and provider experience.
  • Mentor junior consultants and analysts, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Stay informed about provider network trends and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in provider network management or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare delivery systems and payer-provider relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and provider data management software.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
