About the position

The Health Records Technician is responsible for providing data entry support for the operation and delivery of Health Services under the supervision of the Health Manager. This role involves planning, organizing, coordinating, and communicating with Public Health Services, participating in case management, and ensuring compliance with Performance Standards and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide data entry support for Health Services operations.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate communication with Public Health Services.
• Participate in case management and monitoring activities.
• Review and implement Performance Standards and Program Area Plans/Policies.
• Ensure compliance with State, County, and Local regulations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of data entry experience.
• Experience in detailed record keeping and computer/database skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Vietnamese required.

Nice-to-haves

• Associate's Degree in health or public health, medical assistant, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with local community resources related to medical and/or dental care.
