In this position, you will be responsible for conducting system and board-level design for projects assigned to the team, which will encompass the entire lifecycle of new products—from initial design and functional specifications of new hardware features to architecture design and validation of these features. You will review and comment on schematics and system designs, develop analysis tools for hardware performance, and perform sophisticated system-level tests. Additionally, you will resolve issues in existing products and conduct unit and integration testing. Your role will also involve driving the development of component and module vendors, creating tester and evaluation plans to ensure scalable solutions that support Apple's mass production with high quality. Collaboration with hardware, system, operations, and test engineers will be essential, as will writing design and architecture documents.
