About the position

The Health Sensing team at Apple is focused on designing, developing, and launching next-generation sensor technologies aimed at enhancing user experience in health-related applications. This role involves tackling daily challenges that require strong problem-solving skills in a collaborative and innovative environment, ultimately contributing to technologies that can significantly impact users' health and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Conducting system and board level design for new product features from initial design to validation.
• Reviewing schematics and system designs, developing analysis tools for hardware performance, and performing unit and integration testing.
• Driving the development of component/module vendors and creating evaluation plans to support mass production.
• Collaborating with hardware, system, operations, and test engineers, and writing design and architecture documents.

Requirements

• Strong electrical engineering background in analog, mixed signal, and failure analysis with mass production experience.
• Hands-on experience in electrical or system hardware engineering with a proven track record.
• Proficiency in SPICE, Matlab, Python, LabView, or similar scripting and simulation tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with proven partnership and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of system and firmware development.
