Health Technology Data Analytics and Visualization at Deloitte offers an exciting opportunity to make an immediate impact by helping clients solve their business challenges. As part of Deloitte's Core Business Operations (CBO) portfolio, you will operate at the center of our clients' businesses, assisting C-suite and program leaders in transforming their organizations and accelerating mission execution through the use of emerging and disruptive technologies, innovative business models, retooled program operations, and industry-driven solutions. In this role, you will provide expertise on Medicare, Medicaid, and Healthcare Analytics. Your responsibilities will include analyzing, supporting, and developing data warehouse objects, ensuring data quality processes, designing and developing fact and dimension tables, and engaging in logical and physical database design. You will also be involved in data modeling, creating reporting objects, and managing ETL processes. Performing data analysis and profiling will be a key part of your work, as will interpreting the rules for data integration and conversion. You will drive client conversations around technical and functional design and specifications, working in a cloud-based environment (AWS or Azure) to implement technology-enabled business solutions for clients as part of a high-talent team. The Health Technology team at Deloitte implements repeatable solutions to address critical health technology-related issues faced by government clients. We advise on, design, implement, and deploy solutions that focus on the core issues of government health agencies, including claims management, electronic health records, health information exchanges, health analytics, and health case management. Our clients are looking for innovative perspectives on leveraging reusable, interoperable, and flexible solutions that can help them reduce costs, improve health outcomes, and respond effectively to public health crises. As a professional in this role, you will utilize your deep health, government, and technology consulting experience to strategically address our clients' technology challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise on Medicare, Medicaid, and Healthcare Analytics.
  • Analyze, support, and develop data warehouse objects and data quality processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience within a Consulting or Health Technology environment.
  • 4+ years of healthcare data analytics experience.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Ability to travel between 25%-50%.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SQL/PLSQL, ETL, Cognos, R, Python, Tableau, QlikView, Power BI, Business Objects.
  • Advanced experience with MMIS.
  • Advanced experience with Health Data standards.
  • Experience working in a Cloud-based environment (AWS or Azure).
  • Oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).
