The Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) position at MultiCare is a part-time role focused on providing high-quality patient care, monitoring, and communication within the NICU. Responsibilities

• Perform receptionist and communications duties
• Observe telemetry monitoring and recognize cardiac dysrhythmias
• Support care delivery and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups
• Utilize independent decision-making capacities and strong interpersonal skills
• Collaborate with Clinical Director and/or RN for optimal care delivery and patient services

Requirements

• Completion of an approved Unit Secretary vocational training course or currently enrolled in a clinical education program
• Previous Patient Care experience (minimum of one (1) year) or equivalent clerical experience (minimum of one (1) year) in a medical setting
