About the position

Responsibilities

  • Supervise staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
  • Implement policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency and improve patient care.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments.
  • Manage medical office management tasks, including scheduling, patient records, and billing processes.
  • Utilize electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks or Dentrix for efficient patient data management.
  • Address any issues related to critical care services, ensuring that all patients receive appropriate attention.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages professional development and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in healthcare administration, particularly in a hospital or medical office setting.
  • Strong knowledge of fiscal management principles within healthcare environments.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks or Dentrix is highly desirable.
  • Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients, staff, and stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with veterinary practices is a plus but not required.
