About the position

The Healthcare Administrator at Covenant Living is responsible for delivering exceptional business outcomes in financial health, quality of healthcare services, employee and resident satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. This role involves leadership across various functional areas, including healthcare, social services, therapy services, and activities, while serving as the Healthcare Compliance Liaison.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional business outcomes in financial health, quality of healthcare services, employee and resident satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead several functional areas including healthcare, social services, therapy services, and activities.
  • Achieve solid business unit margins through effective management of payor mix, revenue, expenses, and occupancy.
  • Manage and interpret the business unit financial operating statement.
  • Meet and exceed healthcare metrics that drive high quality of care.
  • Ensure proactive compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Build high performing teams through effective motivational techniques and performance management.
  • Attract, hire, develop, and retain talent for the team.
  • Ensure high level of customer service and resident satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Healthcare Administration.
  • Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration preferred.
  • Active state appropriate Healthcare Administrator's license.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Healthcare Administrator or completion of an Administrator in Training program.
  • Minimum of 3 years management/supervisory experience.
  • Experience mentoring, motivating, and developing staff.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional conflict management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to work with dashboards and data manipulation.

  • Experience in a multi-site organization.

  • Experience in Skilled Nursing/Long Term care.
  • Experience building relationships in a matrix organization.
