About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Healthcare Administrator to oversee the operations of our group medical practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare management, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. As the Healthcare Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our medical practices, managing staff members, and implementing strategic initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and organizational performance. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple medical practices, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation. You will develop and implement administrative policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational goals. Monitoring practice performance metrics, analyzing trends, and identifying areas for improvement in operational efficiency and effectiveness will be key components of your responsibilities. Financial management is another critical aspect of this position. You will manage the financial operations of the medical practices, including budget development, revenue cycle management, and expense control. Monitoring financial performance metrics, analyzing variances, and developing strategies to optimize practice revenue and minimize costs will be essential. You will also ensure compliance with billing and coding regulations, payer contracts, and reimbursement policies. In terms of human resources management, you will recruit, hire, train, and evaluate administrative staff members, including practice managers, administrative assistants, and support staff. Providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to staff members to foster a positive work environment and promote professional development will be crucial. Conducting regular staff meetings, performance evaluations, and goal-setting sessions will help promote accountability and productivity. Quality and patient safety are paramount in this role. You will implement quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols to enhance the delivery of patient care and satisfaction. Monitoring patient satisfaction surveys, analyzing feedback, and implementing action plans to address areas for improvement will be part of your responsibilities. Ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in healthcare quality and safety will also be essential. Finally, you will collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic plans and growth initiatives for the medical practices. Identifying opportunities for business development, market expansion, and service line growth to meet the needs of the community and achieve organizational objectives will be a key focus. Establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, healthcare providers, insurers, and community partners, will be vital for success in this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare management or administration, with specific experience in group practice management.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, financial management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in healthcare management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) designation preferred.
