About the position

The Healthcare Administrator at Southeast Homecare is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and managing the operations of the Home Health Agency. This role involves developing and implementing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations, and enhancing patient and employee satisfaction while improving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, direct, and manage the operation of the Home Health Agency.
  • Recommend, develop, implement, and evaluate goals, objectives, policies, and procedures related to home health.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and accreditation regulations.
  • Provide staff support to senior level management.
  • Select, train, and supervise subordinate administrative staff.
  • Enhance patient and employee satisfaction while improving operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of related experience in the healthcare field.
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of healthcare delivery and medical terminology.
  • Proficient in EMR systems and computer applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Bilingual proficiency.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in home health procedures and processes.
  • Associate's degree in a related field.
