About the position

The Healthcare Business Development Representative plays a crucial role in maintaining and expanding relationships with strategically important customers in the healthcare sector. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing, this position is primarily responsible for achieving sales quotas and meeting assigned strategic account objectives. The representative will act as the primary liaison and solutions consultant between Interpreters and Translators, Inc. (iTi) and its potential and existing customers, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to customer account planning, where the representative will lead the planning cycle and ensure that all customer needs are addressed. The representative will be responsible for achieving sales targets and strategic objectives, which includes establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers across all levels of influence. The representative will coordinate the involvement of various company personnel, including support, service, operations, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives. In addition to managing existing accounts, the representative will also focus on developing new customers and achieving sales targets in assigned market segments. This involves leading the strategic planning cycle for new client acquisition and delivering on sales volume targets through tactical execution plans. The representative will conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer needs, ensuring that iTi's offerings align with market demands. Furthermore, the representative will serve as the voice of the customer within the organization, advocating for customer needs in the development of new products and services. Overall, the Healthcare Business Development Representative is expected to model and act in accordance with iTi's mission, vision, and core values, maintaining the highest degree of honesty and integrity in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets and strategic account objectives for assigned customers.
• Lead the customer account planning cycle to ensure customer needs and expectations are met.
• Establish and maintain strong ongoing customer relationships across all levels of influence.
• Coordinate the involvement of company personnel to meet account performance objectives.
• Proactively lead a joint company-strategic account planning process for mutual performance objectives.
• Develop new customers and achieve new customer sales targets for assigned market segments.
• Support the implementation of marketing and sales programs to promote iTi's key messages.
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer needs.
• Be the voice of the customer in developing new products and services.
• Educate internal stakeholders about market trends and competitive landscape.

Requirements

• Associate Degree or Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; bilingual preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or related field preferred; MBA strongly preferred.
