Genesis10 is seeking a Healthcare Cloud Solution/Data Architect for a contract with our client in Minnetonka, MN. This position is 100% remote and involves leading and implementing modernization initiatives of analytics solutions within the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud platforms, data architecture, and analytics engines, with a specific focus on modernization. The role requires familiarity with healthcare data systems and the ability to operate in a secure and efficient manner while adhering to healthcare standards and regulations. The Healthcare Cloud Solution/Data Architect will be responsible for designing scalable, reliable, and secure modern data architectures tailored to the needs of healthcare organizations. This includes ensuring high availability and fault tolerance, as well as developing solution architecture for scalable analytics engines. The architect will oversee the transition of on-premises data systems to the cloud and implement hybrid cloud solutions, ensuring that modern data architectures support healthcare-specific systems such as Payer Modules, Electronic Health Records (EHR), and Patient Management Systems. In addition to architecture design, the role involves overseeing the modernization and migration of healthcare data and applications to the cloud, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical operations while complying with data handling requirements. The architect will also lead the prototyping of modernization for the rules engine, focusing on performance optimization and cost-effectiveness. A key responsibility will be to develop a modernization roadmap that aligns with business continuity demands, emphasizing cost optimization, performance improvement, and scalability. Data security and compliance management are critical aspects of this role. The architect will ensure that cloud data solutions comply with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and implement robust data security measures, including data encryption and identity and access management (IAM). Collaboration with business stakeholders and IT teams is essential to understand the specific needs of the healthcare organization and to provide solutions that meet both operational and clinical goals.
