About the position

The Healthcare Customer Service Representative role at TEKsystems involves assisting members and patients through various communication channels, including chat, email, and inbound calls. The representative will handle inquiries related to insurance, billing, appointment management, and coordinate care among various healthcare partners. The position requires problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues and familiarity with multiple software systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assist members and patients through chat, email, and inbound calls (40 - 60 per day).
  • Respond to general inquiries from patients regarding their accounts, including insurance/billing, appointment management, and prior authorizations.
  • Coordinate care among members' care partners such as pharmacies, testing laboratories, specialists, and insurance providers.
  • Resolve general tech issues and problem-solve resolutions for members.
  • Navigate various systems including RingCentral, Slack, G-Suite, Zoom, and the Electronic Medical Record System.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills to assist members and patients effectively.
  • Ability to handle multiple inquiries and coordinate care among various partners.
  • Problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues.
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems and software.
