About the position

The Healthcare Data Software Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines and processing workflows specifically for healthcare organizations. This role requires hands-on experience with various technologies such as Snowflake, Azure Databricks, API development, and Kafka, along with a strong understanding of healthcare data and systems. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that data solutions meet business requirements while adhering to security and compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building and maintaining data pipelines and data processing workflows using technologies such as Snowflake, Azure Databricks, and Kafka.
• Developing and maintaining APIs for data access and integration with other systems.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as data architects, developers, data scientists, and business analysts to ensure data solutions meet business requirements.
• Ensuring data security, privacy, and compliance with regulations such as HIPAA.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting data solutions to ensure they meet performance and scalability requirements.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Azure Databricks, API development, and Kafka.
• Strong understanding of healthcare data and systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and data governance.
