About the position

Advanced Sleep Management (ASM) is seeking a skilled Healthcare Database Analyst to manage, analyze, and optimize healthcare data systems. The role involves working closely with business development and operations to support critical tasks, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of healthcare data management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main system contact for Sleep System EMR System; Somnoware (ResMed).
• Maintain and update Somnoware and other healthcare databases.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of healthcare data.
• Contribute to the development and optimization of standardized procedures and documentation related to Somnoware usage.
• Analyze data to support clinical and business decision-making.
• Create reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that highlight trends for new and existing KPI's.
• Conduct data validation and quality assurance.
• Assist with integrating new systems and technologies into existing databases.
• Lead data migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions.
• Develop credibility and build partnerships with key contacts across the organization to facilitate efficiency, knowledge sharing, and opportunities for cross collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent related experience)
• 2+ years professional experience in Data/Business Analyst roles
• Proficiency in SQL, database management (MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server), and data analysis tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems and healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR)
• Knowledge of HIPAA and data privacy regulations
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
