About the position

The Healthcare Development Coordinator at MainStreet Family Care plays a crucial role in supporting the expansion of urgent care clinics across multiple states. This position involves extensive travel, liaising with vendors, managing construction schedules, and ensuring new clinics are fully equipped for success. The coordinator will report directly to the Vice President of Clinic Development and will be instrumental in enhancing clinic operations and contributing to the overall growth of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Travel extensively (60%-70% of the time) to support new clinic openings and operations.
• Liaise with various vendors including medical suppliers and office equipment providers.
• Negotiate contracts efficiently with vendors.
• Assist the VP with site selection and operational support for new clinics.
• Manage construction schedules and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Procure startup supplies and manage inventory for new clinics.
• Assist the Marketing Team with new clinic launches.
• Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing current clinic operations.
• Prepare materials for staff training and orientation at new clinics.
• Collaborate with Operations and Contractors to resolve construction and maintenance issues.
• Handle various other clinic-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
• Eagerness and willingness to travel extensively (60%-70% of the time).
• Ability to work from the Corporate Headquarters in Downtown Birmingham, AL, when not traveling.
• Capable of driving long distances and lifting approximately 40 pounds.
