About the position

The Healthcare Epic IT Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing healthcare IT projects, particularly focusing on document management systems and EHR integrations. This role involves leading large-scale, multi-site implementations within healthcare settings, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage healthcare IT projects, focusing on document management systems and EHR integrations.
• Lead large-scale, multi-site implementations in healthcare settings.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including healthcare providers and IT teams, to ensure project success.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against these metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of project management experience in healthcare IT.
• Strong focus on document management systems and EHR integrations.
• Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-site implementations, preferably in a state or large public health system.
• Certifications: Certified in OnBase Workflow Administrator Professional, or OnBase Administrator Professional, PMP (Project Management Professional) or other relevant project management certification.
