About the position

The Kitchen Manager at West Village Post Acute is responsible for overseeing kitchen operations within a skilled nursing facility. Responsibilities

  • Supervise kitchen staff including kitchen aides and cooks.
  • Ensure good hygiene practices among staff members.
  • Prepare meal orders for residents based on clinical needs as directed by the Certified Dietary Manager (CDM).
  • Lead by example and maintain high standards in kitchen operations.

Requirements

  • Serv-Safe Certification
  • Experience in a healthcare setting
  • Supervisory/management experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to lead by example.
