About the position

The Healthcare Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) within the CommuniCare Family of Companies. This position involves gathering, organizing, and reporting financial data to ensure timely and accurate financial analysis and reporting. The role is primarily remote but requires on-site presence 3-4 days per month during month-end closing, making it essential for candidates to reside near Toledo, OH.

Responsibilities

• Develop and create reports based on functional area needs.
• Ensure timely completion and distribution of the monthly reporting package.
• Create and review reports, analyze variances, and distribute findings to management.
• Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed, creating visuals based on requestor inputs.
• Assist the CFO by collecting, organizing, and sharing relevant data.
• Support leadership in collecting and tracking information during various audits.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals (LTACHs).
• Excellent Excel skills are required.
• Superior organizational skills and strong task management abilities.
• Ability to create clear and concise reporting with operational knowledge of data validity.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Positive attitude with a high degree of ethics and personal integrity.
