About the position

The Healthcare Financial Analyst position at CommuniCare involves supporting the financial operations of a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) by gathering, organizing, and reporting financial data. This role is crucial for managing internal and external reporting and analysis, ensuring timely completion of monthly reporting packages, and assisting leadership with audits and data collection. The position allows for remote work but requires on-site presence 3-4 days per month during month-end closing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and create reports based on functional area needs.
• Ensure timely completion and distribution of monthly reporting packages.
• Create and review reports, analyze variances, and distribute findings to management.
• Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed, creating visuals based on requestor inputs.
• Assist the CFO by collecting, organizing, and sharing relevant data.
• Support leadership in collecting and tracking data during various audits.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals (LTACHs).
• Excellent Excel skills are required.
• Superior organizational skills and strong task management abilities.
• Ability to create clear and concise reporting with operational knowledge of data.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• A positive attitude with a high degree of ethics and personal integrity.
