We are eagerly looking for a highly creative, experienced Interior Designer II to join our Healthcare Team and to share our vision to dream big, be daring and create change. Candidates should have 7-10 years of experience in interior design and 5+ years in healthcare related design. The successful candidate will collaborate on interior design efforts on multiple projects including collaborating on design with a multi-disciplinary team, preparing presentations, selecting and specifying materials and FF&E, creating construction documents, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and developing graphics. In this role, you will engage in developing design solutions, coordination, and production efforts on a wide range of projects through all phases of the design, in an iterative and collaborative design process through simple sketching, 2D and 3D modeling, as well as computational methods. You will apply regenerative approaches and material selection to design and performance of the built, social, and natural environments. Your responsibilities will include planning, developing, and participating in design presentations, developing and documenting projects through both creative design and technical detailing, and collaborating with related disciplines (consultants and contractors) for best design outcomes. Additionally, you will coordinate BIM models and documentation internally and with consultants, contractors, etc., participate in construction administration activities with Project Architect and on-site staff, assist project management and design teams with on-site observations and verifications, and be accountable for quality work in your assigned focus area of the project. You will also build awareness and engage with tools such as Rhino, Enscape, and Lumion, explore interior materials, and build awareness of building codes as applied to interior materials. Supporting library maintenance and engaging with manufacturer's representatives, performing interior massing studies, space planning, and programming, and researching project types and trends will also be part of your responsibilities.
