About the position

The Marketing/Admissions Coordinator at Sunflower Park Health Care is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the facility and manage admissions processes. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to engage with various stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and community organizations, to enhance the facility's visibility and admissions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement facility marketing plans, including a minimum of 24 hours per week of calling or meeting with hospital discharge planners, physicians, senior citizen organizations, and/or social service organizations.
• Make speaking presentations on long-term care, aging, or other appropriate topics to local community groups.
• Conduct facility tours and complete the daily admissions process for prospective residents.
• Prepare weekly reports as required.
• Promote internal efforts for community relations programs.

Requirements

• Marketing or community relations experience, including knowledge of the healthcare industry.
• Excellent people skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and in public speaking situations.
• Requires the ability to work independently.
• Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistency with regard to attendance.
